Commercial Install - The Royal Ann Hotel
This past fall in efforts to update the heating & cooling systems in our 52 guest rooms, we were introduced to the concept of installing ductless split heating & cooling systems.
In addition to modernizing our guest room amenities, priorities for our system of choice were noise reduction and becoming a 'greener' property by effectively reducing our substantial hydro consumption, especially in the height of winter & summer months.
To be completely honest, we were unfamiliar with the ductless split system prior to last fall & once introduced to the merits of this technically advanced system, couldn't help but be intrigued. Once our management team had the opportunity to discover how efficient & environmentally friendly the Mitsubishi Ductless system is, in addition to hearing how whisper quiet it is, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for & was subsequently referred to Canadian Aerothermal for pricing & installation logistics.
From our initial meeting with the Canadian Aerothermal team through to product purchase & project completion, we can't say enough about the team's professionalism, dedication to perfection, technical skill & product knowledge. As our building is over 40 years old, with 54 units to install, it's safe to say the job posed its own unique set of quirks & challenges. We couldn't have hired a better group of skilled professionals to work through those challenges & complete the installation both on time & on budget.
In addition to the project itself, Canadian Aerothermal provided us with professional direction & assistance with aspects of the job far removed from the actual system installation. Such as assistance with the application of sizeable Fortis rebates.
Although we have yet to realize the hydro savings we are sure will be realized through the installation of the Mitsubishi Ductless Split system, we couldn't be happier with the performance of the system. Our guests absolutely love how responsive & quiet the units are!
Should you be considering installing a similar system I would highly recommend both the Mitsubishi system, in addition to the professional guidance & expertise of the Canadian Aerothermal team. They are fantastic!

I purchased a dual-zone…heat pump system in the spring. The installation was neatly and professionally done. The system works very well and is amazingly quiet. The efficiency of the Aerothermal system is great. My first electrical bill was less than one-third of what I expected. I highly recommend the Aerothermal system and Canadian Aerothermal as an installer.

I am happy to provide a testimonial for Canadian Aerothermal Heating & Air Conditioning. Two years ago I walked past a mall display showing the benefits of the heat exchange pump. I live in a small, old house with no ducting system and I needed to replace my old gas heater. This seemed like a perfect solution. Everyone from front desk to the installers was helpful and easy to get along with. The installation was done with minimum mess or fuss. The system is simple but very effective. I dreaded those really hot summer days but now I am much more comfortable as the cooling system works amazingly well and inexpensive to run. I am certainly glad I made the move to a ductless heat exchange pump.

We had to renew our heating system this past fall – replacing our current forced air furnace would be very expensive. When we went to Canadian Aerothermal to see about a heat exchange system, the cost was much more realistic for us. The new heating unit was installed in Oct. 2008. Our house has been warm and comfortable all over, even through this rather long and cold winter. This has been one of the best investments we have made.
